Music Arrangement

Music Arrangement with me is where your song stops sounding like a rough idea and starts sounding like a record. You may already have chords and a melody, but the arrangement-when instruments enter, how sections build, where the dynamics peak-decides whether listeners stay locked in or drift away.

I start by listening to your demo and asking about your goals: playlist, radio, live set opener, or a deep-cut ballad. From there, I design the instrumental arrangement so each section has a clear purpose. Intros invite, verses support the story, pre‑choruses create lift, and choruses explode with contrast and space around the hook. Guitars, keys, bass, drums, and textures are chosen and layered to serve that arc instead of crowding it.

Vocal Arrangement is a big part of this process. I map out where the lead should stay intimate, where to add harmonies, and when to bring in doubles, call‑and‑response lines, or gang vocals. Done right, the backing vocals frame your main melody so the hook feels bigger and more emotional without ever sounding cluttered.

If you're unsure what the song needs, an Arrangement Consultation is often the perfect starting point. In that session, I walk you through what to cut, what to add, and how to re-balance the sections for maximum impact. Sometimes a simple change-like shortening an intro or rewriting a bridge-can make the entire track feel more focused and replayable.

By the end of the arrangement phase, you won't just have "cool parts." You'll have a clear, structured blueprint for recording and production: who plays what, when they enter, how the dynamics move, and how the song should feel at every moment. That clarity saves time in the studio, keeps budgets under control, and gives you a track that sounds intentional from the first bar to the last chorus.
